From the vibrant city of Vancouver, Canada, Selena brings over 15 years of expertise working with global brands in marketing, PR, relationship-building, partnership development, and content strategy.
Recently she has been production and marketing lead to an innovation-focused family office, where she manages the corporate and personal brand and has helped shepherd a book deal, a TV series, speaking engagements, and more.
I first met Selena when we were both working for the same company in 2021.
We both had dreams of going out on our own, but weren’t sure about when and how to take the leap. And while we both loved our jobs, we still felt that pull to pursue our goals.
After a long production shoot day at our jobs at the time, I looked at Selena and said- “one day we’ll stop doing this for other people and do it for ourselves. And when I take the leap, I want to do a show with you as the host!”
We agreed that it would be a dream come true, and that we could set an example for women who want to go for it later in life, even if society isn’t always supportive of those ambitions. And, we both know first hand that taking that leap is soooo scary but finally did it. And we are so excited to share our first step into this venture with this new video series. This is (as the Marvel folks say) the origin story of how
“Beyond with Selena Sandhu” came about. But wait…
We wanted a series that would help women become more of who they are, and more of who they want to be. We want to help women in their 40s and 50s stretch Beyond their limits and fears and explore new paths.
This season’s topics include learning how to embrace technology, figuring out how to get a fresh start, becoming an empty nester and overcoming that
dreaded “now what” feeling.
