What’s wrong with my 14 year old bronzer?

I was doing my makeup the other day and hit the bottom of the tin on my bronzer and realized my bronzer was more than a decade old (gross, I know! But I don’t do my makeup that often). I was slightly sentimental looking at it thinking this bronzer saw me through lots of breakups, my wild 20s, marriage, 3 kids, career changes, 2 huge moves and so much more. And as hard as it was to say goodbye to my tried and true, I realized there must be much better products out there 14 years later. So I ventured to Sephora to get some new items and when I told the worker my story she looked equally horrified and excited to help me. $300 later, I walked out with a handful of items and some serious sticker shock. Regardless, I found some goodies that I’d love to share with you all.

1.      Obsessed with this! It gives me a bronzing glow and blurs out imperfections. It’s not heavy and I use this in place of foundation. Charlotte tilbury flawless filter $49

2.      This is the perfect shade of mauve and I’m going to say probably looks good on every skin tone. I use it instead of lipstick and fill in my lips with it. Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk medium lip pencil -$25

3.      This blush is buildable and the perfect creamy shade of pink. I like that I can control the pigment and it’s hydrating. Merit Cream blush in Beverly Hills -$30

4.      This product is so functional as a busy mom! I use it as concealer but it’s great as a spot treatment and I love that it comes in a stick that you can throw in your bag and easily apply. Merit the minimalist perfecting stick $38

5.      PSA- this brow gel is everything! I’m all about my brows and I’ve tried lots of different gels and this one is by far the best! The applicator wand is the magic piece (I think). It’s precise and honestly makes your brows look like you just got them done at the wax studio. Charlotte Tilbury Legendary brow gel -$26
