Does your hair need a break?
Is your hair thinning? Texture is changing? Are you blessed with those lovely postpartum baby hairs growing in? I don’t know about you but everytime I go to the hair salon the heat is on high and I can see my poor strands breaking as the stylist tugs and annihilates them (no offense to my lovely stylists because I also can’t live without you). But as we age so does our hair and we need to be more gentle and give it a break from all the heated styling tools. Here are a few that help keep my hair healthy:
So I bought the Dyson air wrap and the learning curve for me plus the price was all too much. I decided to try the Shark flex style and let me tell you I’m sold. I feel it gives me the same results for half of the cost. It uses far less heat than a traditional blow dryer and gives me a salon looking blowout in under 10 minutes.
Ok… do not hesitate on this purchase. The Sway is the most amazing hair product I ever bought. It gives me a curl that I can’t even get in a hair salon and all you have to do is wrap it the night before and sleep in it. (You can do a few hours in it but I find I get a lasting all day curl if I sleep in it). NO heat and literally no maintenance. I love that I unwrap it in the morning and have picture perfect curls. The Sway $39
Bye hair spray! Texturizing spray has forever taken your place in my cabinet. It gives volume, moment and texture! Oribe is my favorite because it smells so good and does what it’s supposed to. Oribe texturizing spray $52
I recently found this dry shampoo that I love. I have dark brown hair and it doesn’t leave any white streaks, smells good and is moisturizing. It doesn’t leave that grimey feeling most dry shampoos do. Can’t beat the price! Kristen ess dry shampoo $15
I love using this shampoo once a week to give my scalp a deep cleanse. It helps strip the hairs of any product or oils and gives it a nice reset. Odele Clarifying shampoo $12
Hope you enjoy!
